There is also a patio with furniture should you fancy dining alfresco! The sleepy village of Touraneena is home to a shop and a pub and is surrounded by a welcoming community. It lies between the Knockmealdown, Comeragh and Monavullagh mountains, the area provides excellent walking routes and the nearby village of Ballymacarbry hosts the famous Nire Valley Walking Festival each year. Just a short drive will take you to the harbour town of Dungarvan, home to gourmet cuisine, golf, sandy beaches and traditional pubs. For the history lovers, the historic village of Lismore is also a must see, home to Lismore Castle and Gardens. Furtherfield, the seaside village of Ardmore and also Youghal are wonderful places to spend the day with the kids. A wonderful destination in the sunny south east, with something for all the family.
