Located in the lower Winster Valley enjoying far reaching views over the countryside and Whitbarrow Scar, The Low House is a traditional old Lakeland farmhouse with spectacular views across the open countryside.
The Low House dates back to at least the 1840's. It has been fully restored and modernised to suit modern family needs, however it is a wonderful example of a traditional Lake District cottage with a very unique nature.
Near to the village of Crosthwaite, in the beautiful Lyth Valley, you will find complete peace and privacy yet having convenient access to all the National Park and the Lakes. A beautiful rural setting yet just a short 10 min drive away from Bowness on Windermere and the surrounding lakes and mountains.  
Six bedrooms to comfortably sleep up to twelve people.  Large reception rooms for entertaining and dining and also private outdoor space for alfresco eating and enjoying the large secure gardens with your children and/or dog.  
We are within walking distance of two pubs (1.3 miles and 1.5 miles walking distance) and a short drive to either Bowness or Windermere (about 10-12 mins).  
The Low House is the perfect location to explore the beauty of the Lake District and beyond.
