Resting on the edges of Keswick, Cumbria is this fantastic, three-storey house - Hazelmere. Accommodating a family or group of twelve, Hazelmere overlooks Catbells, Skiddaw and Latrigg, as well as providing easy access to the Lake District National Park's abundant bodies of water, and picturesque towns and villages. When arriving at the charming abode, park in one of eight generous, off-road parking spaces before continuing inside. The living/dining room has been designed with post-excursion relaxation in mind, with games available to keep the little ones entertained whilst you kick back and relax in front of the TV. When you're feeling a little peckish, progress into the contemporary kitchen, where ample appliances can be found, including a Nespresso coffee machine and an electric double oven; the chef of the group can get busy whipping up delicious meals, to be enjoyed by all the family in the living/dining room. When sleep calls, climb the stairs to the first floor to find four thoughtfully laid-out bedrooms, including: two doubles with en-suite shower rooms, another double with an en-suite bathroom and a single enjoying an en-suite shower room. Continue upstairs to find the latter three bedrooms, one of which is a zip/linked double, which can be separated for your sleeping arrangements, and offers an en-suite bathroom, along with another second-floor double with an en-suite shower room and a single also benefiting from an en-suite shower room. The property is flanked by two delightful gardens, where you can enjoy a spot of alfresco dining or simply soak up the sun with a steaming cup of morning coffee in hand. Get to know the wonderful town of Keswick, where an array of intriguing attractions can be found, such as the Keswick Museum, Theatre By The Lake and the Derwent Pencil Museum, along with access to Derwentwater, where a range of watersports await. Spend some time at Bassenthwaite Lake, a National Nature Reserve, where even more watersports await, along with the nearby sights of Dodd Wood, Skiddaw and the Lake District Wildlife Park offering plenty more to see and do. Why not visit Ullswater, with its access to the walks which enjoy the breathtaking sight of Aira Force Waterfall, the nearby peak of Place Fell, as well as opportunities to ride the renowned Ullswater 'Steamers'? For more days out, Cockermouth, Bowness-on-Windermere and Kendal aren't far, with their magnificent selection of attractions and activities suiting all ages. Choose Hazelmere for your next Lake District adventure.
