The front door of Huckleberry House opens to the hallway that links the the main sitting room, dining room, kitchen and a cloakroom WC. The panelled, dual aspect, sitting room is bright and airy with large windows and high ceilings. Relax in the comfortable sofas and armchairs arranged around the coffee tables, two cosy electric log burning stoves and a 49" TV. Wall speakers can be connected to by bluetooth or cable as well as for watching TV or films. A door leads out directly from the living room to the garden patio and lawn.
The dining room has a large dining table big enough for everyone to gather round for celebration dinners or extended family gatherings. The well equipped kitchen has 2 fridges, 1 freezer, 2 dishwashers, 3 electric ovens, gas hob, microwave and plenty of cupboard space.
Stairs from the hallway lead to four bedrooms on the first floor and a further two bedrooms on the second floor, all with their own TVs and ensuite bathrooms.
Four bedrooms have kingsize double beds and two bedrooms have twin beds. An additional supplementary bed can be prepared in one of the double bedrooms on request.
A large lawned garden with mature shrubs and trees is the perfect place to relax in the warmer months with a patio, outdoor table with seating and BBQ.
Huckleberry house has its own private entrance.
There is a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron which is shared with other guest properties in the neighbouring building.
Private parking is available for five cars. There is an electric car charging point which is shared with the neighbouring guest properties.
This vacation home is located in Ulverston. Lake District National Park and Bardsea Country Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Lakes Aqaurium and Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway. Cartmel Cheeses and Yewbarrow House Gardens are also worth visiting.
