A beautiful grade 2 listed farmhouse close to the centre of St Bees dating back to 1617! Perfect for large gatherings of friends and family we have created an amazing space to enjoy your time together. The Neighborhood:
When you’re ready to tear yourself away from this splendid base, there’s plenty of amenities to enjoy with St. Bees, including a convenience store, Hartleys Beach shop and a number of local pubs where the chef can enjoy a well-earned night off. Stroll down to the coast and enjoy sunny days on the St. Bees beachfront, offering a beautiful stretch of sand when the tide is out, along with a huge play area where the children can safely explore.
Getting Around:
Join the famous Coast to Coast Walk, a scenic route that begins at St. Bees Head and crosses the breadth of the North of England, and ends in Robin Hood’s Bay, passing through the varied terrain of the Lake District and rolling through the heather-clad North York Moors. For days out, visit the Georgian town of Whitehaven, home to an exciting array of heritage waiting to be discovered, or lace up your walking boots and tackle the Lake District National Park, home to the imposing Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England. With outdoor opportunities in abundance, Box Tree Farm is sure to provide an unforgettable break, whatever time of year.
