The Wenning is a country house in rural setting within a short distance of the three-peaks, Yorkshire Dales and the Trough of Bowland. The Lake District is just 35 minutes away.

The property was completely refurbished in 2015 to a high specification; it has underfloor heating, solar thermal, MHVR (ventilation system), great wall insulation, double glazing and room thermostats - this makes for a cosy space, regardless of the weather.

You will have access to a garden and a private stretch of river, fishing rights are included (licence required).

- 2 bedrooms, with one ensuite, best for a family as you have to go through one bedroom to get to the other

- Bedroom with 2 bunk beds - this one is downstairs from the nearest toilet

This vacation home is located in Lancaster. Bentham Golf Club and Lancaster Brewery are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit The Enchanted Chocolate Mine and Carnforth Station Heritage Centre. Traveling with kids? Consider Cinderbarrow Miniature Railway and The Hawk Garden. Kayaking and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with mountain biking nearby.
