Walking, cycling, fishing, sailing, climbing and canoeing are just some of the activities that are available within the surrounding area, or you may just wish to relax on this David Bellamy Gold Award winning Park. Hillcroft Park is perfectly situated and offers easy access to the Lake District and the local towns for those who like to discover some of Cumbria’s more specialist shops. Within a short distance from the park there are many local attractions such as the Rheged Visitor Centre and The Ullswater Steamer. Gentle walks, such as the one to the Aire Force Waterfall are just a short drive away. For the more adventurous walkers, Helvellyn and other more taxing walks are close by.

Flusco Wood has a number plate recognition barrier system installed. Please could you email registration@fluscowood.co.uk with the number plate of the vehicle(s) you will be arriving in so they can input your details for your access to the park. Please note there will be maintenance occuring at Flusco Wood on Monday 9th March - Wednesday 18th March at the latest. This involves resurfacing some main areas of the park. You will be directed through an alternative entrance to the site. The park will ensure as minimal disturbance to guests as possible.

Located in Penrith, this lodge is in a rural area. Dalemain Country Park and Dalemain are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Lake District National Park and Yorkshire Dales National Park. Rookin House Activity Centre and Lakeland Bird of Prey Centre are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as canoeing.
