Byre Cottage is a lovely retreat situated near the village of Alston, Cumbria. Hosting one king-size bed and a ground floor shower room, this property can sleep up to two people. Inside you will also find an open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area with veranda. To the outside is off-road parking for one car, and an enclosed front lawn. Located amongst a scenic landscape overlooking the hills, Byre Cottage is a one-of-a-kind retreat in a magnificent part of England.

At Ashgillside and Beldy there are waterfalls namely Ashgill Force and Thortergill Force.

Located in Alston, this cottage is in the mountains. Weardale Museum and Killhope Lead Mining Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Brougham Castle and Housesteads Fort and Museum - Hadrian's Wall.
