Scar View is a super cosy modern getaway found nestled in the Cumbrian countryside in the perfect spot to make the most of both the tranquil iconic sprawling countryside views while offering all the modern comforts of the newly renovated one bed home including an outdoor hot tub!
The Space:
The one bedroom, one bathroom home provides both linens and towels for your stay, however, you are welcome to bring additional towels for your getaway while making the most of the hot tub, nearby Lake Windermere and other well-known natural bodies of water!
The bed is a super comfy king bed, while the large bathroom offers the benefit of both a walk-in power shower and a double ended bath with a handy shower attachment.
The kitchen and living area are open plan, with the kitchen stocked with all the essential kitchen implements needed to make the most of an evening in and cook a meal for two! Seating can be a found at both the breakfast bar and outside in the garden when enjoying a morning cup of tea!
The hot tub is located outside and while the tub itself is not completely surrounded by a structure, there is an overhanging canopy as can be seen in the photos of the garden. The fairy lights can be switched on and off at will by a handy outdoor switch. Between each stay the tub is emptied, refilled and receives a water treatment.
Guest Access:
Parking can be found on the house’s driveway.

The garden property line is not ‘pet proof’ and all animals should be supervised when within the outdoor space.
Guests have full access to the house, however, please be aware that use of the outdoor hot tub is only permitted for those who are over the age of 16.
The Neighborhood:
The Black Labrador is a quick 2-minute drive from Scar View and offer an excellent menu consisting of locally sourced produce that can be enjoyed by either dinning in or collecting from the pub.
The iconic towns of Bowness and Windermere are found a 15-minute drive away, with the historic market town of Kendal found a slightly shorter 10-minutes away in the opposite direction.
Getting Around:
Oxenholme (Oxenholme Lake District) and Windermere Train Stations are the nearest train stations, located a short 15-minute drive away from Scar View. Reliable local taxies can pre arrange collection from either station to the house.
While there are a number of reliable local taxi services available within the area, there are no nearby bus stops with the closest bus routes operating in either Windermere or Kendal respectively.
