The village of Bowness on Solway is best known for being located at the start (or end) of Hadrian's Wall in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Located on the shores of the Solway Coast in the Moricambe Bay the area is a haven for the local bird life making the sand dunes, salt marsh, shingle beds and peat mosses their home. There are viewpoints for spotting waders, curlew, golden and grey plover, lapwings and many more birds scattered along the shoreline. Guests looking for a relaxing away from it all holiday but within easy reach of city life and national parks opt to stay here. The village itself has a tea room, village pub and bistro. Carlisle is within half an hours drive, the Lake District is within an hours drive and the Victorian coastal village of Silloth is within half an hour.

Nestled on the edge of the village, in a quiet location in the grounds of the owners bed and breakfast these 5 glamping pods are perfect for a break away at any time of year. Whitemire Pod has its own wood fired hot tub, communal parking and outside seating.

Whitemire pod has electric heating and is fully equipped to enjoy a peaceful break away at any time of year. The comfy sofa overlooks the TV and can convert to a double bed. The kitchen has electric oven, hob and fridge with complimentary tea and coffee. There is a comfy double bed with linen and towels provided and en-suite shower room with hand basin and WC.

All electric, bed linen and towels included. Sofa bed for 2 children. Parking for 1 car. Shared use of the garden area with private picnic table and private Hot tub (supplement payable)
