Eden Lodge is a spacious detached Edwardian property in the small village of Bardsea a few miles from Ulverston. The property has thirteen bedrooms offering a variety of sleeping arrangements, most of which have en-suite facilities. Two of the bedrooms are on the second floor, along with a shower room, kitchen and sitting area, offering a more private space within this lovely property. The main living area consists of a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room set within a sunny conservatory, and a spacious sitting room with woodburner. Outside is a barrel sauna, a patio with hot tub, and mature grounds plus ample off road parking. Eden Lodge offers a very special opportunity for a group of family or friends to spend time together and enjoy this lovely part of Cumbria, with its coastline, market towns and proximity to the beautiful Lake District National Park.

Private patio with furniture, coal BBQ and hot tub. External barrel sauna. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Note: Please confirm with owner if you would like zip/link bed made up as twin at least 14 days prior to your arrival. Note: Hot tub unavailable from 12pm on Thursdays for weekly cleaning/maintenance. Note: Mobile reception in house is limited. Note: No stag/ hen parties or similar. Note: Check-in 4pm. Note: Charcoal for BBQ not included. From 27/1/2022 some of the utility needs of the property are met by a provider who sources their energies from renewable sources and is carbon neutral, this process will be completed by around the middle of 2022. All waste is already collected, then checked and separated by our waste disposal provider and the highest degree of recycling is thus assured. Charging of electric cars is not permitted at this property, if electric charging is detected a charge of £100 will be deducted from the bond. This property has a £500 Good housekeeping bond. Please note: There is an 11 pm curfew at this property after which time all guests must stop using the hot tub and strictly observe the hours of rest and not cause any form of disturbance to neighbours.Guests found to be in breach of these rules will be asked to leave the property with no refund given

Town: Positioned on a hill overlooking Morecambe Bay is the small village of Bardsea. This remote settlement grew from a small fishing village and farming area to become a major transportation link for coal, iron ore and corn. Today, Bardsea still retains its fishing heritage, and features two pubs, both of which serve fine ales and good food. The village itself is located close to Furness Abbey, whilst the market town of Ulverston is just two miles away, and maintains its street market tradition, hosting one every Thursday and Saturday throughout the year. Ulverston is also the location for many festivals including an amazing lantern procession in November and a Dickensian weekend in early December. With all the attractions of the Lake District National Park within easy driving distance, and the sandy beaches of the Furness coast close by, this peaceful spot has plenty to offer.

Located in Ulverston, this cottage is by the sea. Laurel and Hardy Museum and Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include South Lakes Safari Zoo and Lakes Aqaurium. Traveling with kids?
