Portinscale offers village life with the option of taking a short walk into the market town of Keswick on the footpath from the village and over the suspension bridge (1.5 miles). There is a network of lake or mountain walking paths from your door; this area is a haven for walking, cycling and water sports. Within the village, you will find some nice places to eat and enjoy a drink. The marina is 0.5 miles from the property, you can board the launch across to Keswick and around Derwentwater. Keswick has an indoor climbing centre and for mountain bike enthusiasts explore some of the tracks at Whinlater Forest, less than 4 miles away. The Lingholm Estate is under a mile away and has a fabulous restaurant, some lovely walks and a pretty walled garden. As you enter the communal hallway the sweeping staircase is directly in front of you. Head up to the first floor and head along the landing. Enter the apartment and head down the hallway to a bright open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This room has a huge bay window overlooking the village, comfy seating, a Smart TV and a stunning mirror on the wall. It is a great social space to enjoy time as a family, watch a good movie after a day out exploring or play a board game. Next to the lounge is the master bedroom with a king size bed, ample storage, TV and large windows which floods the room with light. Through the trees, you can even catch a glimpse of Derwentwater. The bathroom is next door with a shower and cosy underfloor heating. The twin bedroom is along the hallway down a couple of steps. At the front of the property, there is a communal patio area where you can sit in the sunshine and read a good book while watching the world go by.
