Cedar Retreat is an attractive shepherd's hut located in Melmerby, Cumbria, within the scenic North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This unique accommodation is custom-built and features two separate huts connected by a beautifully crafted internal corridor, making it an ideal getaway for couples or small families, accommodating up to four guests. The retreat is surrounded by secluded woodlands and overlooks picturesque open fields, providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The interior of Cedar Retreat boasts a spacious open-plan living area that includes a cosy sitting area with a wood-burning stove, a dining space, and a well-equipped kitchen. This thoughtfully designed layout ensures that guests can enjoy both comfort and convenience during their stay. The connecting corridor leads to two double bedrooms, each offering a restful space, as well as a shared shower room featuring a walk-in shower, catering to the needs of all guests.

One of the highlights of Cedar Retreat is its outdoor space, particularly during the summer months. Guests can open the doors to enjoy al fresco dining on their private decked terrace, which provides stunning views of the surrounding woodland. The retreat also features additional outdoor seating around a private fire pit and barbecue, making it perfect for enjoying warm evenings under the stars.

Situated in the foothills of the North Pennines, Cedar Retreat is located in the Eden Valley, approximately 10 miles from the renowned Lake District National Park. For added convenience, private parking for up to two cars is available next to the hut, ensuring easy access for guests traveling by car.
