Duddon View - Duddon Valley, Lake District (Dog-Friendly), Seathwaite

Lake District. Sleeps up to 4

Duddon View is a beautiful two-bedroom stone-built holiday cottage in the scenic Duddon Valley, surrounded by fells, open farmland and grazing animals.

The Duddon Valley is locally known as the "Jewel in the Crown of the Lake District", primarily due to the fabulous scenery visible from all the windows of this newly-refurbished Lake District Cottage.

The cottage combines many of the original features of a cottage of its age, including the fantastic stone fireplace. It combines this with modern touches to create a wonderful home-away-from-home with a warm and comfortable feel.

The ground floor is spacious and open, combining the living area with two three-seat sofas, a wood-burning stove, and a dining area with a four-place dining table. The utility room leads off the living area, perfect for hanging your wet walking gear after a day out on the local fells.

The galley-style kitchen also leads off from the living area. It is modern and supplies all the mod-cons, including a dishwasher. After all, nobody wants to wash dishes on holiday. If you do not fancy eating out at the local pub, you can cook up a family meal quickly.

Upstairs are two lovely bedrooms, both en-suite, including a shower, basin, and toilet! The views from both bedrooms are of the fells and farmland.

Outside is an enclosed courtyard with garden furniture. The courtyard looks out, over farmland and grazing sheep, to the river Duddon.

Overall, Duddon View is an excellent property to rent for family holidays or perhaps two couples, given the two en-suite bedrooms, and your dogs are welcome too!
