Summary:
Bellfoot is found in on the edge of the picturesque Lake District village of Grasmere overlooking its own natural private garden by Greenhead Gill. The house is an easy stroll from Grasmere, close by footpaths to Alcock Tarn and the Fairfield Ridge are conveniently found just up the lane for those looking to take advantage of the local footpaths to explore the stunning natural area. For those looking to relax after a long day out in the hills, there are great local pubs and eateries within easy walking distance.

The Space:
The house offers three bedrooms, the master bedroom features a king size bed with en-suite, the other rooms, a twin and a double are located slightly down the hallway with access to the shared family bathroom. The family bathroom features a bath with shower where the en-suite bathroom features a standing shower.

Bellfoot is perfect for a family getaway and features a cosy front room for socialising together and enjoying the comfortable environment. The conservatory-dining area allows for easy access to the garden where the patio can be found. Outside the table and chairs make the garden a great place to relax with the greenery of the garden offering a firm degree of privacy. The Greenhead Gill flows through on side of the garden, a delightful addition to the well-loved garden that offers the relaxing sound of tumbling waters. While there is a fire pit outside, we do not provide logs and kindling, however guests are welcome to bring their own!

Guest Access:
The front door is a few steps from the drive way, the drive itself is suitable for two or three car parking.

The Neighborhood:
The village of Ambleside is situated in the heart of the Lake District surrounded by plentiful natural beauty and full of Cumbrian charm and rich history. History can be found on Barakat's own doorstep with a 2nd century Roman Fort ruin that can be found less than a two minute wander away! Towards the centre of the village Stock Ghyll Force can be found, a spectacular 70 foot waterfall or perhaps more familiarly there is the National Trust owned 17th Century Bridge House over Stock Ghyll beck is one of the most recognisable and photographed scenes in Lakeland!

While Ambleside remains distinctly popular with walkers, climbers and those looking to get out and about on the lake, there is no shortage of shops, cafes restaurants and a local cinema.

Getting Around:
Bellfoot is a great location to travel to a number of local attractions and locations when out and about by car. The local bus routes run regularly from Grasmere village and are found a short stroll from the house should you wish to explore other well-known locations such as Keswick, Ambleside, Bowness and Windermere to name a few.

Other Things to Note:
The property has private parking for three cars, found at the front of the property.

Wheelchair access is unfortunately not available, as there are steps at the front access points of the property.
