Being so close to the beautiful Lake District, why not drive over to Newby Bridge and Lakeside to hop on board the Windermere Steamer and travel up to Bowness-on-Windermere and Ambleside? The Aquarium at Lakeside and the steam railway will keep the younger guests entertained, whilst in Cartmel, be sure to visit the Priory, enjoy one of the excellent pubs, or dine in style at the famous L’Enclume restaurant.
