Within a short walk there is a local shop and two pubs as well as access to beautiful countryside walks and rides in all directions. From the cottage you can head up onto the Skiddaw Range for a challenging day of walking, running or cycling, or stay at a lower level in the valleys for an easier day out. Located close to the market town of Keswick, there is a range of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops within a short drive, plus picturesque Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite nearby. Or take a drive or scenic bus journey and visit Cockermouth, Grasmere and Ambleside further afield. This location is perfect for families or groups of friends looking to explore the Lake District.
