The Old Chapel is a one-of-a-kind, luxurious property in the beautiful Peak District countryside, with all the comforts of modern living, including superfast 150mbps broadband. Each of the bedrooms has its own en suite. The property has delightful gardens, ample parking, and an easy walk to the village pub.
Beautiful walks are right on the doorstep, including a trail to the famous Thor's Cave landmark. With only a 20-minute drive to Ashbourne, shops and other amenities are easily accessible.
A luxurious, spacious 18th-century chapel in the picturesque Peak District.
Because of the beautiful vaulted ceilings, most of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor. Each has its own en suite with hairdryers provided. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine. Behind the kitchen is a boot room, to dry wet weather gear after those countryside walks. Besides the boot room is a side entrance for easy access to the kitchen and boot room.
On the first floor is where the living spaces are located (and a bedroom in the attic, accessible off of the living room via a spiral staircase). A Woodburner creates a focal point in the spacious first-floor lounge, off of which is a study where board games, books and OS maps are kept.
To the right of the property is a staircase that leads to the patio area with comfy seating and BBQ for those sunny days.
Four-pawed friends are very welcome, please note there is a maximum of 3 dogs, and they must be of mature age and not under the age of 1. All dogs must be well behaved, there is a £20 charge per dog. Please bring your own dog's bedding /towels with you. Thank you.
Built into the Chapel is a Sunday School, that we will one day turn into one incredible property. Sadly until then, the Sunday School is strictly off-limits. The rest of the property, however, is there to be enjoyed!
Located in Ashbourne, this vacation home is in a rural area and near theme parks. Tissington Hall and Churnet Valley Railway are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Ashbourne Golf Club and Whiston Hall Golf Club. Traveling with kids? Consider Alton Towers, or check out an event or a game at Harrison Park. Explore all the area has to offer with mountain biking, hiking/biking trails, and cycling.
