This quiet location is a delight for those who love hiking, cycling, and nature spotting. Situated less than two miles from the quaint, cobbled village of Longnor which provides an array of shops and traditional pubs. Nestled just below the top of a ridge between the Dove and Manifold valleys Longnor provides an excellent starting point for many walks, ranging from short ambles by the river to serious upland treks. Along with the spa town of Buxton (10 miles) and the lovely market town of Bakewell (12 miles) and not forgetting the stunning Chatsworth House, gardens, and a farm shop just 15 miles away. For the young at heart and a fun filled day, Alton Towers is only 17 miles.
