Bakewell is one of the most popular towns in the Peak District, offering a range of shops, galleries, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The local area is well served for cyclists, as Bakewell lies at the start of the Monsal Trail, one of three car free walking and cycling trails in this part of the Peak District. The rolling limestone hills of the White Peak and the dramatic moorlands and gritstone edges of the Dark Peak provide endless opportunities for exploring via the extensive network of public footpaths and open access land. The property is a beautifully restored Grade II listed Georgian property dating back to 1751, step into the welcoming lounge area with its stunning feature stone fireplace, home to the beautiful wood burner, providing a cosy place to curl up on the cooler evenings and curl up in front of the TV/DVD. Heading upstairs to the first floor you will find two lovely bedrooms, a king size with fitted wardrobes and charming window seat and a twin room with 2'6" single beds, also with fitted wardrobe and a window with views across Bakewell Church. Outside is a small courtyard with seating for four guests, perfect to enjoy a coffee and some fresh air in the morning. There is one parking permit provided for one car in the lanes around the cottage.
