Within 3 miles, Carsington Water offers something for everyone, with activities such as cycling and water sports to enjoy, and miles of picturesque waterside walks. The unforgettable Chatsworth House and Farmshop (16 miles), Hardwick Hall (23 miles) and Kedleston Hall (12 miles) are great for days out, as are pretty towns and villages such as Matlock Bath (8.5 miles), Ashbourne (5.2 miles), Buxton (18.5 miles), and Bakewell (14 miles) all of which boast an array of independent shops and restaurants.
