At the side of the property is a small, dog friendly patio area to sit out and enjoy a drink or two and just moments away you will find a peaceful meadow offering a pleasant retreat and convenient space to stretch the legs of your canine friend. One thing for sure is that whatever your tastes and interests you'll never run out of things to see and do. Stroll up to the Star Disk or Black Rocks to enjoy their imposing views, venture further out on foot along the High Peak trail, plan a nostalgic trip upon the Ecclesbourne Valley railway headquartered in the town, nearby Carsington Reservoir is a great place to hire a bike and spot the wildlife, partake maybe, in the plethora of water sports that are on offer there. Take a short drive out to Cromford village and the bustling town of Matlock, stop off along the way to visit the world heritage site of the Derwent Valley Mills or the Heights of Abraham with it's exciting cable car ride and cavern tours, further afield, but not too far, are the magnificent stately homes of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, be sure to explore those must see scenic beauty spots like Dovedale and the Monsal Head within the Peak District National Park. All in all, The Coach House is the perfect place to stay in order to access many of Derbyshire's finest sites.
