Set in over half an acre of lush gardens in the centre of beautiful Castleton Derbyshire, Croft Cottage is a picture perfect, pet-friendly cottage within the stunning Peak District National Park. Croft Cottage is set over two floors, sleeping up to six guests in three perfectly formed bedrooms, perfect for families and friends to enjoy. The cottage is tucked away in a prime location in the centre of the village surrounded by rolling hills with a large garden where you can relax in the hot tub complete with views of Peveril Castle, a short stroll from the many pubs, restaurants, amenities, attractions, and nature filled landscapes Castleton offers. You enter through wooden gates affording private parking for at least two cars, giving privacy to the garden. Please be aware that driving up to the entrance to the double gates is extremely tight (2.25m width), as you would expect in a secluded cottage, but once inside there is room for at least two cars to park comfortably. Croft Cottage is set in a very large secure, mature lawned garden with spectacular views of Peveril Castle and sweeping vistas of the peaks with a barbecue, fire pit and hot tub. There is plenty of room for safe storage of bicycles and the utility room houses a washing machine with shower room/WC, ideal for muddy shoes and wet paws to dry off. The kitchen offers dining options, from a kitchen table to an informal breakfast bar for a quick snack, or you can just relax on the sofa with views of the garden through the French doors. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine for guest use. The dining room seats eight comfortably with dining chairs and bench seating for more formal dining. The lounge boasts a woodburning stove, Smart TV with plenty of DVD's along with a selection of books and magazines for guests to enjoy some downtime. One of the king-size bedrooms has a private en-suite bathroom with shower. The other two bedrooms, one king and one small double share a spacious bathroom with shower, along with a separate downstairs shower room. On your doorstep is an abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants to try. Castleton is home to the iconic Speedwell Cavern, with its stunning underground lake, and the ancient ruins of Peveril Castle. Castleton village is in the heart of the Peak District National Park, which is heaven for walkers, cyclists, paragliders, bird watchers, rock climbers and cavers to enjoy. Croft Cottage is a fantastic retreat, whatever time of year.
