It has three bedrooms comprising of a double with an en-suite and two twins, there is also a family bathroom, the lodge can sleep six people. Also inside there is an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting room with an electric fire. To the outside there is ample off road parking, a lawn and a decking with a table and chairs. Thorntree Lodge is a charming log cabin in a beautiful location.

Close by is Bakewell, capital of the Peak District, and home of the Bakewell pudding which is still made locally to an old and secret recipe. This town is at the heart of the Peak District, and further attractions in the area include Gulliver's Kingdom, the shops and eateries of Matlock Bath, and within easy touring distance, Alton Towers making the location ideal for the whole family to enjoy.

Heights of Abraham and Cromford Canal are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Peak District National Park and Matlock Parks Country Park.
