2 Pheasant Lane is a wonderful detached cottage resting alongside a well-presented shepherd's hut on the fringes of Bolsterstone. The main building comprises two bedrooms; a double and a king-size double with a bathroom boasting a bath, shower over, basin and WC. There is also an open-plan living room with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove. The shepherd's hut offers two king-size doubles with a Jack-and-Jill shower room. Outside is a garden with a hot tub, sauna, pizza oven, barbecue and patio furniture. 2 Pheasant Lane is an unconventional, modern living space with ample facilities to make you feel right at home in the beautiful Peak District.

Town: The village of Bolsterstone stands between the Stocksbridge and Ewden Valley, on the border of the Peak District National Park and is one of the last remaining hill villages in the Sheffield area. The village boasts a 170 year old country pub, the Castle Inn, and is also home to the Bolsterstone Male Voice Choir which was formed in 1934 and is still going strong today. Ewden was recent host to the Tour de Yorkshire boasting its climb Cote de Ewden. Just 1.5 miles away is the busy little town of Stocksbridge which holds a variety of eateries and shops, together with many bridleways and footpaths for visitors to discover. Nearby, the Broomhead and Langsett dams make for interesting afternoon rambles, whilst the ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ country of Holmfirth is within easy reach. There is easy access to the Peak District for longer walks, mountain biking and all the attractions of Hathersage, Edale and the impressive Ladybower Dam, whilst the proximity to the M1 means Sheffield, Leeds, York and the rest of Yorkshire’s beautiful scenery are easily accessible.
This cottage is located in Sheffield. Kelham Island Museum and University of Sheffield Drama Studio are cultural highlights, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Fox Valley and Alhambra Shopping Centre. Hillsborough Leisure Centre and Quasar Sheffield are also worth visiting.
