The cottage is ideally located in the peaceful village of Littlehempston, just a 10-minute walk to the friendly, award winning village inn, perfect for an evening out and a break from the cooking. Just 2 miles from the historic town of Totnes on the River Dart with cruises down river to Greenway and Dartmouth. A cosmopolitan place midway between Dartmoor and the glorious coast, it has a vast array of independent shops, weekly market, galleries, leisure centre and many lovely restaurants, bistros and cafés. The seaside towns of Paignton and Torquay are 20 minutes’ drive, and it is just a 30-minute drive to the yachting haven of Dartmouth; the coastline between Dartmouth and Kingsbridge has many stunning beaches, hidden coves and fantastic coastal walks. Leisure activities nearby include golf, horse riding, fishing and water sports, and spa treatments are available by arrangement.
