The Laurels is the east wing of South Allington House and has been completely redesigned in 2010 to a very high standard. It now comprises five bedrooms, sleeping up to twelve people, and is perfect for a large family get-together or friends reunion.
Downstairs the large double-aspect kitchen diner is fitted with modern light oak units, complete with electric range cooker, and has a seating area, with a large farmhouse table, overlooking the gardens. The kitchen also has fridge freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and microwave. The living room is a large sunny double-aspect room overlooking the gardens of the main house, and is furnished with modern large leather settees, together with TV with Freeview and DVD player.
Upstairs we have two bright and airy double-aspect master bedrooms – one double en-suite (and room for a cot) and one double, with additional bunk beds. A small double room shares the bathroom with one of the master bedrooms. The remaining two bedrooms (one en-suite) can be furnished with either twin single beds or double beds, as required. A large shower room is also located upstairs.
This property is very green with its wind turbine, solar panels and bio mass boiler.
Guests will have the use of the extensive grounds of South Allington House, with large gas barbecue and garden furniture provided. All guests have use of the tennis court and croquet lawn within the grounds of the main house. Beach 1 mile.

Located in Kingsbridge, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at South Devon and English Channel, while Salcombe Maritime Museum and Dartmouth Museum are cultural highlights. Slapton Ley Field Centre and Woodlands Family Theme Park are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding nearby.
