Family & Pet Friendly Wheelchair Accessible Bungalow, Edge Exmoor, Sleeps 6 - 14, East Anstey

Exmoor. Sleeps up to 16

The cottage was once a cattle shed, converted in the 1970s to form first a workshop building and then a bungalow for people with learning disabilities and support staff. It is fully wheelchair accessible with no steps inside or outside and wide doorways, as well as accessible toilets.

There are six bedrooms with bunk beds in two family rooms and extra beds available on request. There are two lounges, a large kitchen/diner and parking for four cars outside the cottage.

The cottage is an ongoing project for our family and rental prices are reduced by 25% to reflect the fact that work is ongoing, especially to the exterior of the building, and to a room in the cottage which are locked (as per floor plan). The rooms are all renovated and freshly painted and the kitchen is also newly renovated but we do have more work to do and we hope that our visitors will appreciate the chance to stay with us at a bargain price while we complete the building's full restoration. We're also renovating the building next door, which will become the Blackerton Ecocentre - it's a fascinating building but you'll have to excuse the work needed there.

Located in Tiverton, this vacation home is in a rural area. Tarr Steps Clapper Bridge and Caratacus Stone are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Exmoor National Park and Grand Western Canal Country Park. Traveling with kids? Consider North Devon Hawk Walks, or check out an event or a game at Rock and Rapid Adventures. Explore all the area has to offer with cycling, hunting, and ecotours.
