A stunning studio apartment in a period townhouse in the heart of Chagford, a charming little town within the Dartmoor National Park. The apartment has a delightful location in the town centre with wonderful shops, pubs and cafes all just footsteps away. The wonders of the Dartmoor National Park can be explored by car, bicycle or with great local walks from your doorstep, and you are only 40 minutes from the Cathedral City of Exeter, perfect for a spot of culture and shopping.
The space
Gladesville House was built in the Arts and Crafts Style and is packed with original features. This gorgeous apartment is located to the back with views into the garden and up to Dartmoor. You enter the house through the communal front door and go up the stairs to the apartment. Through the private entrance door to the hallway which has doors to the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. The bathroom has a large double ended bath with shower over, toilet and basin. The kitchen is equipped with electric hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. The bedroom has a double bed with views up to Dartmoor, table and chairs and TV. Furnished with antiques, William Morris fabrics and a quality modern bed and mattress.
Guest access
You will have full access to the studio flat at all times and the space will not be shared with any other persons. The property is set up to offer remote access with easy self check-in, meaning no direct contact with anyone is required.

If you wish to extend your stay, you must check with our team. The earlier you check, the better as we are sometimes unable to reschedule cleaning to suit.
The holiday home is equipped with small hand soaps, toilet roll and basic kitchen items such as a sponge, washing liquid, bin liners and salt & pepper. If you want anything specific, such as liquid hand soap or kitchen roll, please ensure you bring this with you for your stay.
If the management team are called out to resolve an issue where you are at fault, you will incur a £50 callout charge, i.e. if you cannot connect to the Wi-Fi, but you have unplugged the router.
Wifi
The connection is fast, although it does sometimes drop out. Once you have reconnected it should be back to full speed. This only happens occasionally, but please make sure you select 'automatic reconnection' when you first sign in to limit the frequency.

This apartment is located in Newton Abbot. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Dartmoor National Park and Stover Country Park, while Arts & Craft Chapel and Devon Guild of Craftsmen are cultural highlights. Stone Lane Gardens and Higher Knowle are also worth visiting.
