Ranscombe House was built at the end of the 19th century and has amazing views overlooking Brixham’s outer harbour, marina and across to Torbay. This semi-detached residence is an excellent choice for your stay in South Devon. This eight bedroom former guest house is set in its own grounds with car parking for twelve cars and a lawned garden in which to relax in peace and tranquillity and there is a barbecue for your enjoyment. This spacious holiday home has been decorated and furnished to a good standard offering a fabulous house for friends to get together, celebrations and large family holidays. Attached to the owner’s apartment, the property sleeps twenty people and all bedrooms are en-suite. There is a large kitchen and living/dining room. There is even a bar on the lower ground floor, with Sky TV with sports package, billiards and a selection of games. There is a small snug for those quiet times as well.
Ranscombe House is conveniently located with the harbour, shops and restaurants just a 3-minute stroll away. For nature lovers, nearby Berry Head is a National Nature Reserve and gateway site for the UNESCO-supported English Riviera Global Geopark, while the South West Coast Path offers breathtaking walks. Nearby Breakwater Beach is well worth a visit. Visit Brixham and experience one of the treasures of the English Riviera, South Devon’s beautiful bay and its myriad of attractions. For things to do for families, Torquay is a hive of activity throughout the year. There are many beaches to choose from as well as Kent’s Cavern to explore or Living Coasts to visit where you can walk with penguins. There are also plenty of sightseeing excursions, boat and fishing trips out into the bay, or take a boat trip to Torquay and Dartmouth for a day out. Paignton is most famous for its wonderful zoo, whilst Babbacombe plays host to a world in miniature in the form of its acclaimed model village. Agatha Christie’s summer residence ‘Greenway’ is also close by. This is an ideal holiday home all year round. Beach 500 yards. Shop and restaurant 500 yards, pub 100 yards.
