Brimpts Barn, Dartmeet Near Princetown

Dartmoor. Sleeps up to 24

Princetown 5.9 miles. Brimpts Barn is a magnificent, converted, detached barn spectacularly located on a farm amongst trees on a hill above the Dartmoor beauty spot of Dartmeet, Devon where two rivers converge. With an L-shaped layout, it is a unique place for large groups of friends or family gatherings to spend time together and enjoy the amazing surroundings. You enter into the vast sitting room with lofty ceiling, glass doors to a balustrade, woodburning stove and large dining area. Off this room, you will find the small but efficient commercial kitchen, well-equipped to cater for big groups of families or friends. A large hall creates another seating area for watching TV. There are ten bedrooms in total, with four in the main barn, one upstairs and three downstairs. A few yards across the patio, a door leads to four more bedrooms, two upstairs and two downstairs and consisting of a family room and three twin rooms. The other two en-suite bedrooms are found a few yards away, also with their own external entrance, providing a little more privacy for smaller families or groups of friends. Outside you have a sheltered courtyard with seating and a barbeque and the bonus of a hot tub you can look forward to sinking into after an adventurous day, as well as a sought after sauna and pool table! Beyond the barn, lovely walks are signed across the farm, or head out onto the open hills of Dartmoor National Park to walk or cycle. With so much to do, you may not want to venture further, but with the market towns of Ashburton and Tavistock nearby and the south coast around 20 miles away, there is plenty to see if you do. Brimpts Barn is a very special place to enjoy the sights and adventures that Dartmoor offers.
