This is a superb spot, ideal for exploring the whole of North Devon and Cornwall. Nearby, only 2 miles away, is the cliff side village of Clovelly. With its whitewashed cottages and winding cobbled street, you can walk down the hillside to the sheltered harbour where pubs, shops and restaurants can be enjoyed. The donkeys that service the village are, in fact, kept in the surrounding fields near Highford Barn. The Milky Way Adventure Park is located only 2 miles away, along with Hartland at the same distance. The nautical fishing village of Appledore and port town of Bideford are only a 10 mile drive away. The barn has been finished to a high standard and lovingly converted with an abundance of charm and beautiful tiled and wooden floors. Entering the property, you will appreciate its bright and airy atmosphere. The French doors make the most of the light, and offer guests direct access to the enclosed garden. There is a TV/DVD and warming log burner for those cooler evenings. The well equipped kitchen consists of an electric oven and hob, 2 fridges with ice compartments, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. The property benefits from two bathrooms, the first located downstairs via one step and consisting of a freestanding bath with handheld shower attachment and WC. Heading upstairs to the two bedrooms, you will find 1 King size bed with TV and en suite bathroom with freestanding bath, shower cubicle and WC. The second bedroom also has a TV and is a twin zip and link which can be made into a Super king bed on request at time of booking. Guests can enjoy both the front patio area with garden furniture, and the enclosed rear garden with lawn, seating and BBQ. A collection of indoor games, books and DVDs are also provided for use. There is off road parking available for two cars on the driveway.
