Spread out and relax in the large, open-plan living space with a sitting area featuring comfy sofas surrounding the contemporary remote controlled gas wood burning stove effect fire where movie nights can be enjoyed on the 55 inch Smart television, Blu-ray and DVD player. Memorable holiday meals are a joy to create in the sociable kitchen and dining area, fully equipped to satisfy even the most discerning of chefs with two full electric ovens, a built-in microwave, and of course the all important wine fridge.
Bedroom one can also be found on this first floor level and enjoys its own sofa, television and en-suite bathroom. Downstairs, bedroom two is equally generous, again with a sofa, television and en-suite along with a spacious separate family bathroom. Holiday laundry can be kept out of sight and mind with the utility room also tucked away downstairs.
Back upstairs, from the sitting room, bi-folding doors open out onto a beautifully landscaped, fully enclosed garden and large terrace set into the hillside providing breath-taking views of the surrounding countryside. With plenty of outdoor seating and a gas barbecue, this is where you'll want to be during the warmer months.
The ‘Thankful Village' of Holywell Lake is situated in a small coombe close to the Somerset/Devon county border and is surrounded by the Brendon Hills and the Quantock and Blackdown Hills, both designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area really is a walking and cycling paradise. The nearest amenities can be found just a short five minute drive away in the historic county town of Wellington.
For larger groups Holywell House (8 Guests) is also available to book sleeping eight guests with use of two further ground floor bedrooms.
