Dartmoor itself offers many miles of scenic walks for all abilities, ranging from easy strolls through to challenging hikes and climbs. With great transport links nearby you will also be within a short drive of the stunning cathedral city of Exeter and within an easy drive of popular tourist destinations of the south coast and the unspoilt villages along the northern coastline. Other attractions within easy reach include Lydford Gorge, Roadford Lake, Meldon Reservoir and Viaduct, Okehampton Castle, the Miniature Pony Centre, Crealy Adventure Park and Dingles Fairground. This delightful lodge is accessed via a small flight of external wooden steps and then once inside you will find yourself in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner.
