Situated in historic quarter of the village close to the 13th Century church and only a 5 minute walk into the centre of the village with a good choice of shops, restaurants and pubs. Bowling green, gardens and childrens playground are also closeby and with local pub serving good quality meals only 100 yards. Ideally situated for walking or cycling along the Tarka Trail, which follows the route of the old railway through the village and along the edge of the estuary towards Barnstaple and Bideford (cycle hire available in the village). Only two miles from the superb sandy, surfing beach at Saunton that backs onto a wide expanse of sand dunes that is part of Britains first UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Further surfing beaches of Croyde and Woolacombe and the market town amenties of Barnstaple including traditional pannier market, cinema and leisure centre are just a further short scenic drive.
Accommodation has been recently refurbished to a high standard and is very comfortably furnished and well equipped throughout including gas fired central heating.
