Winkle cottage is an 1800's fisherman's cottage nestled into the Brixham hillside, looking out North over the bay toward Torquay and out to sea. The property has undergone an extensive restoration in 2017 and has been lovingly restored in a sympathetic manner, retaining a wealth of charm and character. The cottage boasts an abundance of original features, including exposed stone walls, 3 feature fireplaces and a fantastic sun terrace overlooking the harbour bowl and open ocean.
A 2 minute walk from the front door and you are quayside, with a plethora of traditional inns, cocktail bars, bistro's and restaurants. A short walk further and you are at the beach and sea water lido, with Berry Head Nature Reserve and St. Mary's Bay and secluded beach also within walking range.

All bedrooms boast new pocket sprung mattresses, luxury bedding and hotel quality duvets and pillows.

Master Bedroom - Spacious room with King sized bed and pocket sprung mattress, bedside tables, reading lamps and chest of draws. Large window seat to enjoy the amazing views over the harbour and out to sea. 32" Samsung TV.
2nd Bedroom - Good size room with a standard double bed and pocket sprung mattress, bedside tripod light, built-in chest of draws and cupboard.
3rd Bedroom - Good size room with standard single bed and pocket sprung mattress, bedside table and reading lamp.
Dressing Area - Communal dressing table, stool and mirror with hairdryer.
Bathroom - Small but well equipped modern double shower room with w/c, wash hand basin, mirror and central heated towel rail.
Located in Brixham, this vacation home is in the mountains and on the waterfront. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Berry Head Country Park and South Devon, while Golden Hind and Dartmouth Museum are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids?
