There are many country pursuits available in this rural area, including fishing in the two reservoirs at Wimbleball and Clatworthy, Exmoor safaris through dramatic windswept moors, walking the Exe Valley Way, horseback riding across the moor, and cycling along the Lowman Way. The nearby towns of Dulverton and Tiverton also provide plenty of amenities. The lovely North Devon coastline, which is farther away, offers wonderful walks, little coves, sandy beaches, and views of Wales. An excellent starting point for touring North Devon and the Exmoor National Park is Bampton.
