From this delightful cottage you will be perfectly placed for exploring the very best of both the Devon and Cornwall coasts. Enjoy National Trust cliff top walks, quiet, sheltered coves, charming fishing villages and long sandy surfing beaches. There are a whole range of attractions within easy reach offering something for all tastes; these include the breath taking scenery of Dartmoor, Launceston Steam Railways, Bude Canal and Splashpool, The Eden Project, The Milky May and much more. Other nearby activities include golf, horse riding, and water sports at Roadford Reservoir, or head to the market towns of Holsworthy and Launceston to shop for local produce. If you don t fancy cooking, there is a selection of traditional village inns in the area. On the ground floor, there is a spacious lounge/kitchen/diner, which has been fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable break. In the kitchen area, you will find an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, and a dining table for mealtimes. The lounge area is made extra cosy with the wood burner, which you are free to use and comes with an initial supply of logs free. There is also a TV/DVD and hi fi. On the ground floor, you will also find the master king size bedroom with en suite shower room with WC, and one cosy bedroom with a zip and link king size bed that can be made into a twin room. The second twin bedroom can be found on the first floor with sloping ceilings. There is also a bathroom that consists of a shower room with WC. Outside of the property you will have your own private courtyard with seating, and Lazy spa hot tub ( to be arranged with owner and charges will apply on arrival if requested) Within the rest of the grounds there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy. This includes a games barn with pool, table football, darts and air hockey, an outdoor children s play area and a pet corner with a range of animals throughout the year: chickens, goats and pigs. There are also woodland walks to enjoy and a pretty, private lake where you can try your hand at coarse fishing. There is a 12 person BBQ hut available for hire. There is ample parking.
