The award winning 'Blue Flag' beach is just 500 yards level walk away, offering miles of golden sands, and certified clean waters with surfing tuition and equipment hire available locally. Mortehoe, with its breathtaking National Trust clifftop footpaths is also less than two miles beyond the smaller sand and shingle cove beaches of Grunta and Barricane. Horse-riding and rock climbing are also popular activities in and around the sands, and the glorious undulating countryside and dramatic coastline of Exmoor is also within a very scenic 10 mile drive.
