A 5-minute walk to the sea with superb mile long beach and Esplanade, the picturesque Axe harbour with yacht club a little further. The Seaton Wetlands, made up of 4 local nature reserves are all nearby. A 5-minute drive to the quaint fishing village of Beer with Quarry Caves and Pecorama model railway/pleasure gardens. The popular Regency coastal town of Sidmouth with a splendid variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, cinema and theatre is a 15-minute drive. The famous Donkey Sanctuary near Sidmouth with café/restaurant is also close by. Lyme Regis, known as ‘The Pearl of Dorset’ famous for its historical Cobb is a 15-minute drive.
