SAUNTON NORBORO is a luxurious family home offering uninterrupted views over Saunton Golf course and Braunton Burrows and o;ny a short walk to Saunton Sands Beach. This impressive detached property is a wonderful holiday home with all the modern requirements for large families or groups of friends, looking to enjoy the lovely beaches, golf courses and village amenities close by.
KITCHEN:
The large, light and very well equipped kitchen has everything you would need for a great stay. This includes a Rangemaster oven with electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and pod coffee machine. Additional extra is a small kitchen table as well as cutlery and crockery for children.
The handy utility room houses the washer dryer, WC, walk in shower room with heated towel rail and hand basin with access to rear enclosed courtyard.
DINING AREAS:
At the end of the hall, kitchen also leads to the dedicated dining room with a large table seating 8.
The is also a small table and chairs with seating for 2 in the kitchen
LIVING AREAS:
Enter via the beautiful and welcoming entrance hall, large enough to store child buggies, coats, bags and shoes
The calming, classy living rooms have been thoughtfully decorated throughout. The main living room has been furnished in calming blues with 2 x large 3-seater sofas, feature fireplace and television with Netflix.
The second living room is warm and homely, again with 2 large sofas, feature fireplace and television with Netflix for rainy day entertainment or cosy nights in.
Both living rooms are positioned at the front of the property and large windows display stunning views over the burrows and estuary beyond as well as the famous Saunton Golf Course.
BEDROOMS:
All bedrooms are upstairs. The carpeted stairs (with retractable stairgate) lead up to a spacious landing, which has a juliet-style feature balcony providing magnificent views over the golf course and the burrows.. A further two twin rooms are located at the rear of the property, one with an en-suite shower/WC and separate hand basin, there is an additional shower room with WC and a large family sized bathroom.
Bedroom 1: Super King-size bed, with matching oak furniture and bedside lamps with dressing table and two chests of drawers. Beautiful views over Saunton golf course and burrows.
Bedroom 2: King size bed with matching oak furniture with two chests of drawers, bedside lamps and spectacular views as in bedroom 1.
Bedroom 3: Two single beds with hand basin/vanity unit as well as an en-suite shower room with WC
Bedroom 4: Two single beds with a chest of drawers and views over the garden.
All bedrooms provide a hairdryer and bath towels are provided.
BATHROOMS:
The home has 4 bathrooms:
Family Bathroom: Fully tiled with free standing bath, large walk in shower with rain shower head, WC and hand basin
Shower room 1: with shower cubicle, heated towel rail, WC and hand basin
Shower room 2: En-suite to bedroom 3 with shower cubicle, heated towel rail, WC and hand basin
Ground floor shower room with WC in utility.
OUTDOORS:
Outside there is a large driveway and raised lawned area with table and chairs. The spacious garden has two seating areas, the first of which has two picnic benches, seating up to 8 with a terraced garden ad patio. This lovely area overlooks the golf course and burrows beyond. The second area is an enclosed back yard courtyard, off the kitchen, again with outdoors furniture seating 8.
There is plenty of parking space to the front and side of the property. The drive has a traditional 5-bat gate and is reasonably enclosed by hedges. Please take care with dogs and children.
The handy garage provides plenty of space to store buckets, spades, surfboards, bikes and much more,
This high end home is just a 10 minute walk along a beach path to the beautiful Saunton beach. Croyde, Woolacombe and Putsborough beaches are all within an easy, short drive and the village of Braunton with many shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways is only just over 2 miles away. The market town of Barnstaple is about 20 minutes drive and here you will find larger supermarkets, the well-known pannier market, cinema, theatre and an array of shops and places to eat.
Located in Braunton, this vacation home is in a rural area and near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at North Devon Coast and Basett's Ridge, while Queen's Theatre and Arlington Court are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids?
