- Whatever the weather, the indoor swimming pool is always open for you to use! Your access to it is exclusive and unrestricted. It’s a good size for fun and exercise - 7x4m (23x13ft) and kept at a toasty 31-32 degrees!
- Table tennis is in a separate barn just next to the garden, and again, is for your exclusive and unrestricted use.
- Table football, PS4, DVDs, board games etc.
- Large and enclosed garden, with swings, climbing frame, football goal.
- Plenty of loungers in which to relax and resin weave table and chairs for outdoor dining. Gas BBQ.
- The East Devon Way is just at the end of the driveway, opening up a fabulous array of walks on the doorstep. Trinity Woods Nature Reserve is just up the road - perfect for picnics, den-making or mountain biking! Wifi for home-working. Extra desks available on request.
- The sea and beautiful beaches of Lyme Regis are nearby.
A mile from the sea, on the Dorset/Devon border, in the picturesque village of Uplyme, on the Jurassic Coastline, famous for beaches, footpaths and fossil-hunting. Coombehayes Barn boasts a tranquil yet convenient location, just a stroll away from the village green (with playground, tennis court and village shop) and a picturesque 45 minute walk along River Lym to the seafront in Lyme Regis.
The property itself has a seaside theme throughout and is centred around its own private, indoor swimming pool. This can be viewed at all angles from the wrap-around glazed walkway leading to two super-king bedrooms, each with private ensuite shower rooms and super comfortable pocket sprung mattresses. The walkway widens into a bright and sunny games area and includes table football and PS4, as well as wooden railway for the little ones. The small laundry room houses washer/dryer and ironing facilities.
The lounge has far-reaching views over countryside and towards Lyme Regis, with two double French doors leading to a wide patio which stretches the full length of the house. It features a wood-burning stove (with unlimited supply of logs), large TV with Freesat and a range of DVDs.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering, with brand new range cooker, large American-style fridge freezer, microwave, slow cooker, dishwasher etc. Table and chairs for 10 people.
The beautiful, far-reaching views can again be seen from the bedrooms upstairs - two twin (with super comfortable pocket sprung mattresses purchased just this year) and a master bedroom with sumptuous king-size four poster bed. The family bathroom has two washbasins, toilet, bath and shower over.
There is a useful, guest cloakroom adjacent to the entrance hall.
Cots, highchairs, toys, books and games supplied in a variety of cupboards throughout.
The garden is fully enclosed and safe for children. It features swings, climbing frame, football goal post and ample seating, with deckchairs and loungers. The generous patio area has rattan-style oval dining table and seating for 10 people, as well as gas bbq.
There is a separate table tennis barn adjacent to the garden which is for your exclusive use.

When It comes to eating, we are spoilt for choice with a splendid array of restaurants. We are just a few minutes away from River Cottage, HQ of celebrity chef, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. Swim, The Lyme Bay or newly refurbished Pilot Boat are just a few eateries to be recommended along the seafront. Relax with a cream tea in the beautiful garden at the Alexandra Hotel or enjoy a traditional pub meal at The Talbot Arms just down the road.
Located in Lyme Regis, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at East Devon and Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, while Lyme Regis Museum and Dinosaur Land are cultural highlights.
