Super-Stylish & Dog-Friendly Bolthole In Heart Of Burley, Burley

New Forest. Sleeps up to 2

Tucked behind Burley's bustling village, and nestled at the foot of a forest path, our super-stylish & dog-friendly bolthole provides just the sweet spot for a couples' countryside retreat...

Once home to Burley's old grain store, The Nook has been lovingly restored into the 21st Century and you'll now find bags of top-notch interior design & creature comforts awaiting under the eaves. Whilst the peaceful Farrow & Ball palette, luxe linens & playful art throughout invite you to make yourself at home inside (it is seriously gorgeous!!!), the courtyard garden also beckons as a sun trap & cat nap paradise... decisions, decisions. Lucky you though, as wherever you choose to curl up, the French doors blend inside & outside to perfection so you'll have the best of both worlds anyway.

With Burley's buzzy village & its woodland wanders competing for your attention, we'd start with a mooch around to grab a coffee & supplies (top tip- the cafe just opposite packs a mean takeaway picnic #spoiltmuch), before answering the call of the wild in the open forest that surrounds. N.b If you don't fancy walking, you can hire a bike or even hitch a wagon ride!

Come back home to while away the afternoon with alfresco nibbles & natter before settling in by the log burner to chat about tomorrow's adventures… after a nightcap in one of the pubs perhaps?! Our ‘Hansel & Gretel' cottage is at-the-ready to settle you into life as a New Forest local.

Inside

Light, airy, and in a dreamy location, our perfectly formed countryside bolthole has left no stone unturned in its quest for holiday cottage heaven. From the herringbone floor, to the vaulted ceiling, you can expect high end finishes & super sleek styling in every direction.

You will definitely feel smug you've found this place... and we can't think of a snugger spot than the living room area to start the tour. Light & airy by-day (the French doors effortlessly connect you to your countryside location), the sinkable sofa & flickering log burner beckons come-nightfall. No matter when you succumb & settle in, we love the Scandi styling with its mix of pale wood & plump soft furnishings amongst the fun finishing touches.

Like the gorgeous bathroom here, the kitchen boasts beautiful blue hues & high spec finishing touches (+ those gorgeous tiles!) and you'll find everything at-hand to rustle up something delicious before you settle in to natter & nibble around the table.

When you're finally ready to hit the hay, your bedroom sanctuary provides a little safe haven to sink into, with its painted walls & plush headboard... close the shutters and hunker down before enjoying another day in the life of a Burley local!
