The towns of Dorchester, Sherborne and Yeovil are easily accessible and there are many National Trust properties to visit. Visit the nearby seaside town of Weymouth with its sandy beach, or venture slightly further to Lyme Regis or the harbour town of West Bay. There are many attractions including Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum, Monkey World, Hardy s Cottage and Abbotsbury Swannery. For fishing enthusiasts, guests can arrange with the owner to fish on the privately owned 4 mile stretch of the River Frome or the fishing lake which is within walking distance.
