Stourwood Corner is an extremely spacious ( 1100 sq ft/100 sq m2) character 3 double ,bedroomed property situated on a corner plot on a quiet tree lined avenue just a short walk from the sea with its dog friendly sandy beach accessed via slope down to promenade (Gordon’s Zig Zag) or by venicular (Fisherman’s Walk, dependent on season). Bournemouth beach is one of the safest beaches in the UK with RNLI Lifeguards based all the way along our seven mile stretch of beach.

Having spent time renovating the property inside and out, the accommodation has its own private access and takes over the entire ground floor, with high ceilings, oak doors and other character features as well as all mod cons making it a perfect location for all year round use, be it for just a few days or a longer stay.

Southbourne Is a relaxed but still bustling suburb just East of Bournemouth, 5 minutes' drive to Christchurch and 15 minutes from the New Forest. Southbourne's primary attraction is its sandy Blue Flag beach, which provides a quiet retreat along the coast from bustling Bournemouth, while Hengistbury Head offers walks out to Mudeford sandbank exploring protected heath, wooded footpaths, sea shore and harbour.

Southbourne is an amazing place to both live and holiday, quieter than neighbouring Bournemouth yet sharing the same expanse of sandy beach and offering its own high street ‘ The Grove’ with an array of independent shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. As Southbourne has so much to offer you may feel you don’t need to go into Bournemouth itself but if you do there is a regular 24hr bus service that goes to Bournemouth ( and Christchurch in the other direction) with the bus stop being just a 2 minute walk away.

* Whilst time with family is precious we recall only too well how there may be occasions when you may prefer some time away from your children. Our daughter, who works as a qualified nursery nurse, as well as animal lover, and has been working in childcare for over 7 years is available to babysit ( and dog sit) during evenings or at weekends by prior arrangement. Please enquire on booking if this is something you’d be interested in (at extra cost) to avoid disappointment.
