Local Christchurch Area & Visitor Attractions
Christchurch has quite a unique location where the rivers Avon and Stour join, flowing into its own stunning natural harbour. There are many ways to explore the area whether on foot, ferry, bicycle, paddle board, kayak and so on! You’ll get lost in time here, relaxing and enjoying all the town has to offer. Christchurch centre is a level 10-minute stroll from the holiday home.
The ancient market town is traced centuries back to Norman and Saxon times. The 11th Century Christchurch Priory dominates the skyline and is worthy of a visit when you are here.
Christchurch town is rich with a variety of restaurants and eateries to suit all tastes and budgets. A good selection of local shops adorn the high street, with mainstream retailers close by in Bournemouth and its suburbs.
More local to No7, in Tuckton, are a variety of convenience shops, a good selection of take away food outlets, pub/restaurant and an amazing artisan bakery for your morning goodies!
