Morton cottage is nestled in the picturesque Nithsdale area of Dumfries and Galloway countryside. Where we own 6 individual holiday cottages set around a lovely private court yard and can now have exclusive use of their own private HOT TUB and indoor heated swimming pool and sauna. A fee is now applicable and booking is by 1 hourly slots. This cottage has beautiful views of the private courtyard and the Tynron hills which can be seen through patio doors leading out from the open plan lounge/dining room onto your own private enclosed raised patio area which is ideal for BBQ's and outdoor seating. Perfect for any special occasion, including wedding anniversaries, birthday celebrations, Christmas, new year and any other special occasions as we are open all year round. This cottage has a king size sleigh bed and also the option for a sofa bed to be made up which opens out into a double. There is also a hall, open plan lounge/dining room, kitchen and bathroom with bath, shower over the bath, wash hand basin and toilet. The property includes use of a shared washing machine and tumble dryer for your own laundry facilities if you may require this during your stay.

Located in Thornhill, this cottage is in a rural area. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Mabie Forest Park and Moffat Community Nature Reserve, while Ellisland Farm and Sanquhar Tolbooth Museum are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids? Consider Dumfries Ice Bowl and Dalscone Farm Fun. Fishing and swimming offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking nearby.
