The conservatory leads you through into a large open-plan living area which is beautifully laid out with contemporary furnishings including a breakfast bar, dining table and woodburning stove to add warmth to your stay. The bedrooms are both very spacious, the super-king-size room having remote control Velux windows which draw in the glorious sunlight. The garden has a lovely patio area with table and chairs and a sandpit with toys to keep the children fully occupied. The quaint, little village of Lochmaben offers a range of pubs and restaurants and the beautiful Kirk Loch. The wider region boasts a wealth of historic sites to visit as well as museums and galleries. Dumfries and Galloway offer plenty of exciting activities such as mountain biking, windsurfing, and yachting, however, if you just want to absorb the charming, green landscape then there are lots of gentle walking routes. Laird House has much to offer for a relaxing week in an idyllic rural setting.
