Guests at Glenwhan Lodge are welcome to stroll through the gardens with its 17 acre moorland walk, the Ornamental Garden or follow the numbered tree trail where there is a large collection of rare trees, shrubs and many plants from around the Southern Hemisphere. After your time exploring the Gardens enjoy a cup of tea and delicious home baking in the Garden’s Tea Rooms. Further afield this delightful corner of South West Scotland is just waiting to be explored from the rugged coastlines with superb cliff top walks, breathtaking scenery around every corner, to secluded sandy beaches benefitting from the warmth of the passing Gulf Stream. You will find golf courses and fishing fresh, water and sea, together with many unspoilt beaches. The Galloway Forest Park is nearby with world class mountain biking and walking to suit all levels.
