Relax in the spacious living room where the patio doors open out onto a patio, creating harmony between the indoor space, the garden and the coastal landscape beyond. The patio has a set of table and chairs, the perfect spot for enjoying breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. Why not stroll down to the beach afterwards, or round to the harbour to soak up the splendid views. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The cosy bedroom has a kingsize bed and the separate bathroom completes the accommodation with a shower over bath.
Burry Port is a lovely town and has a selection of shops, a post office, and several pubs and restaurants. The local golf club is renowned for offering year round sport, no matter what the weather throws at you, and the sandy beach is equally delightful on hot summer, or wild stormy days. The Millennium Coastal Park is not to be missed, with its 13 miles of off-road cycle track, it is one of the most scenic routes in Wales.
The harbour is a hive of activity, where you can sit and watch the fishermen return to shore with their fish laden boats. For the shoppers in your party, Carmarthen offers a vibrant shopping centre, with lots of chain stores plus small, unique Welsh gift shops, lovely restaurants, tea rooms, pubs, a bowling alley and a cinema. Llanelli offers a great range of shopping, a modern cinema, a theatre and a leisure centre, as well as a Nicklaus-designed modern links golf course.
Further afield you will not be disappointed by the local attractions. Pembrey Country Park offers a splendid sandy beach, a dry ski slope and a nature park, while the race course at Ffos Las, open all year, may well have a race meeting during your stay. After fun days out, return to your welcoming apartment to rest up and plan tomorrow’s activities. Beach 170 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
